Instruments

An Instrument is a playable sound source. It might be a single sample that loops, or many samples mapped across the keyboard, with velocity layers and round robins.

You load an Instrument into any of the three layers with the Instrument browser, which finds Instruments across all your installed sample libraries. A layer with no Instrument loaded shows None in place of the name: click it to open the browser.

Instruments come from sample libraries, which are made with Floe's open developer tools.
